Programs

2019 Program

St Paul’s offers two, 3 year old kindergarten learning programs, and two, 4 year old government-funded preschool programs, with extended hours across two beautiful learning spaces.  The emergent curriculum ensures that all children participate in the design of the program, which in turn creates a strong love of learning as the children are connected to the experiences and opportunities offered to them.  Children are taught life skills such as developing resilience and independence.  Our staff are strong advocates for encouraging and supporting children with additional needs.  Children are encouraged to create, explore, inquire and discover in order to develop and grow.

BROAD CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is broad, with a distinct focus on creative arts including yoga, dance, drama, music, sport, Bush Kinder and art workshops.  These programs are enjoyed by all of the children. Special visitors and artists in residence share their life experience with the children to enhance their learning.  When combined with an exciting schedule of excursions and incursions the children are given special access to the world around them.  Our indoor and outdoor facilities maximise the use of space to provide a wide variety of age appropriate experiences that extend and challenge the children.

The emergent curriculum ensures that all children participate in the design of the program, which in turn creates a strong love of learning as the children are connected to the experiences and opportunities offered to them.

Children are taught life skills as well as developing resilience and independence.

CULTURAL DIVERSITY

The staff have diverse backgrounds that support understanding of cultures and English as a second language.

CREATIVE ARTS

Creative Arts are a huge focus: Yoga, Dance, drama, music, sport, Bush Kinder and art workshops that enrich the program and are enjoyed by the children in all groups.
